Welcome!

Welcome to the Gloucestershire Local Dental Committee’s website. The committee represents all dentists in the county from individual practitioners to specialists and community staff, both NHS and private.  Accordingly, the membership includes elected local practitioners with co-opted members from secondary care. The committee meets 3 times a year, with the executive also attending numerous PCT and national events.

We provide expert help and advice to practitioners and PCT alike and are the first point of call for contract issues, and have an input into local commissioning policy through representation on the PCT commissioning forum and Oral Health and Strategy Advisory Group.
